Researchers Develop Supercooled Quantum Hoverboard That Levitates

Researchers at France's Universite Paris Diderot have developed a supercooled, quantum hoverboard that actually levitates. Utilizing "liquid nitrogen, the team turn the platform super-cold, creating an electromagnetic field that is expelled from the inside of the board." Video after the break.

It's not quantum locking -- the skateboard is too big to mimic that little super-cooled disc -- but it provides enough outward magnetic force to float above a rail of permanent magnets.

Geek Juggles and Solves Rubik's Cubes Simutaneously

Solving a Rubik's Cube is hard enough for some people, imagine juggling a few of them simultaneously. That's exactly what ultra geek David Calvo has accomplished, as he "can juggle three Rubik's Cubes while solving one." Video after the jump.

This isn't Calvo's first brush with Rubik's Cube greatness, he already holds the Guinness World Record for the most Rubik's Cubes solved in one hour (185).

All-Electric DeLorean Video Released

Finally, a video showing what it's like to drive the upcoming 2013 all-electric DeLorean has been released. It features "a mysterious box labeled 'Flux' on it and aside from the iPhone dock, 125 mile per hour speed and 260 horsepower, built-in GPS navigation system, DMC is remaining mum on the vehicle's specs." Xbox 720 Might Arrive in 2013

According to insider sources that are currently developing the parts for this console, Microsoft's Xbox 720 is set to be unveiled at E3 2013. That's not all, an "EA studio already has rudimentary new Xbox console technology in-house." Click here for more pictures of the concept above.

Many rumors about what gaming companies have been working on have also led to speculation that an Xbox 720 is in fact in development. For instance, Lionhead is supposedly working on a project named Fable NExt.

Passing Cloud is a Futuristic Transportation System for the Skies

Called Passing Cloud, this futuristic transportation system essentially consists of "a rigid stainless steel structure supporting an array of spherical nylon balloons that intersect to form a solid, if topologically diverse, platform suitable for passengers." Click here to see more pictures.

There's no "inside" of Passing Cloud; you just climb up some stairs on top of the balloons and chill there, watching the clouds and ground go by.

Woman in Florida Receives $201,000 Mobile Phone Bill

Florida resident Celina Aarons recently received a mobile phone bill from T-Mobile in the amount of $201,005.44. This happened because two of her brothers - one is a mute while the other deaf -- are also on the same account. When one of the brothers went to Canada on vacation, they forgot to turn off data roaming, so the charges quickly racked up. Fortunately, "T-Mobile did not have to reduce her bill, it wrote down her charges to $US2500." Continue reading for the news report.

"The case of Ms Aarons was extraordinary, even if the amount was correct. T-Mobile cut her bill to $US2500 [$2442] and gave her six months to pay," a T-Mobile spokeswoman said.
